AGM Global Vision is preparing to introduce the new AGM Night Vision Recorder, a compact first-person recording system designed to capture high-resolution video and audio directly from the user’s point of view.
The video recording module is compatible with night vision devices that use a standard PVS-14 eyepiece. It can be installed within seconds and provides a practical recording solution for night observation, wildlife monitoring, outdoor activities, equipment testing, training documentation, and field research.
High-Resolution First-Person Video and Audio
The AGM Night Vision Recorder captures video and audio from the user’s perspective and offers two recording modes for different image-detail and motion requirements.
Users can record in either MP4 or MOV format. Seamless five-minute loop recording divides longer sessions into manageable files while supporting continuous operation.
Live Streaming Through the AGM STREAM App
Built-in Wi-Fi enables wireless communication with the companion AGM STREAM mobile application. Users can view the image in real time, stream the current view, and play back recorded footage through a compatible smartphone.
Image parameters and real-time visual effects can also be adjusted directly through the app, allowing the displayed image to be adapted to current observation conditions without interrupting the recording workflow.
Flexible Storage and Battery Options
Built-In and Expandable Storage
The recorder includes 64GB of built-in eMMC storage for recorded video and audio files.
Storage can be expanded using a compatible microSD card of up to 128GB. UHS Speed Class U3 and Video Speed Class V30 media are supported.
Multiple Battery Configurations
The recorder can be powered by one rechargeable 18650 battery, two rechargeable 16340 batteries, or two CR123A batteries.
One 18650 battery provides up to six hours of operation under standard conditions.
Compact Recording Module for PVS-14 Eyepieces
The AGM Night Vision Recorder is designed for night vision devices equipped with a PVS-14-style eyepiece. Its compact housing measures only 38 × 45 × 58 mm and weighs approximately 105 g with a battery installed.
An included hook-and-loop mounting system supports quick and secure attachment to compatible outdoor headgear. The recorder can be installed rapidly and removed when recording is not required.
The IP67-rated housing is designed to withstand rain, dust, and demanding outdoor conditions. The specified operating temperature range is from −20°C to +50°C.
